You want to build a very beefy shank. I have one on a 3pt for the corner wire but one like a tile plow would be much better. I use my tile plow to pre rip the trench. If you have a tile plow I would have a piece of 1" square tubing bent and put it inside the tile plow to run the guidance wire in. You want a very clean trench before you chuck up the wire because you cannot lift up or back up when plowing in the wire.
