As of my last statement I currently have $3600+ in GM card earnings available. I was under the impression that as an "old" GM cardmember, my account was "grandfathered in" and I could use the full amount up to $3500 toward any vehicle purchase?
The earnings are really useless to me now, since after the Government Motors debacle I have no intention of ever purchasing a new GM vehicle. I should probably cut up my GM card and start using another card. I have some things automatically charged to it, and I dislike the hassle of changing.

That would be nice, but no, the limit on the amount you can use on rebates has not changed. There is usually a maximum $1,500 on some
vehicles. Once in a while a bonus offer is sent out. It has been that way from the start of the GM card. It would be nice if you could use the whole rebate. |
