Subject: Hog barn conversion to cattle barn

West Central Missouri
Have an older 25 yr old concrete floor flush gutter hog barn that I want to raise the roof on and convert to a bedded cattle barn. The building is 34 x 100 with a solid concrete floor. At 50 sq ft per head the building would hold 68 head and 100 ft of bunk along the south wall would mean approx 1.5 ft/hd of bunk space. I would leave all sides completely open. My questions are: 1. Is 34 ft too narrow? 2. How high should should the roof be? Thanks for any suggestions
