We have a bunch of VHS tapes, though not near as many as you. We even have several Beta tapes. Sony's greed sure cost them on the betas as they were a much superior product than the VHS. Wife was on a cleaning spree last month & I think she threw a bunch of them away, maybe even all of them. Oh well, we hadn't watched them for several years and they had probably dried out.
