Plowing will just leave a bank on each side that will drift in that deep for next time and unless you are talking a tandem axle straight truck with a full box of sand you will likely have trouble getting through drifts with a plow. You should likely look for an 8-9 foot double auger blower. If you can afford it get a hood that turns at least 270 degrees more is better. And get a hydraulic controlled flipper on the end of the hood. It makes it much nicer if you have to blow snow into the wind, if you can get it going down before it leaves the blower you have a much better chance of seeing what you are doing. | |
