I'm betting the trailer ride helped her. If you ever had a cow you couldn't pull a calf out of, backwards, twisted up, etc. after they have a trailer ride they seem to shift the calf around so you can pull them. every time I had one I couldn't pull, I would take them to town ( 40 miles ) the vet pulled no problem. He always laughed and said the ride to town help flip the calf.
