Nebraska
I'm new to to this tractor and the Pro 700.
I would like it to stop counting area when implement is rasised
My book shows Implement Type but my Pro 700 does not.
Also the book shows Work Control options On and off.
My Pro 700 Shows On, Off, Auto Mode, And Road Mode.
I was told it's differant because it's a midrange tractor.
Will it do what i want? Do i need a different book?

The 225 runs the "Medium Tractor" software, which does not offer the Implement Type = Hitch/EHR1 window. You need the Medium Tractor operators manual for Field Performer/Trip Computer software, 84541554.

You can wire in a work switch to the APost, which will let the display start/stop counting area based on the implement position.

This is a little greek to me, but you say i need to mount a switch and will need to manually switch aera on and off?
Would the Medium Tractor Manual be useful to me? and i wonder why i didn't get it with the new tractor?

It is way past due for CIH to get the "Medium Tractor" features up to par with the larger Magnums. If they are gonna market them as Magnums, they need to have the same features.

Bnobles I completely agree. Too many features the dealer says sorry not available on your tractor (mag180). Seems like alot of extra b.s. to keep straight. Only 1 platform of technology to know would seem better. See my post about pull type CIH sprayer and pro 700 below. Dumb.

well, yes, you could do that (manually control the area on/off), but mounting a whisker switch to the implement frame would make your life easier.

Most all my Implements are hydrilic, do you think i could somehow hook it to the EHR switch?

You mean to the actual switch/lever in the cab? You could probably rig a little lightweight momentary toggle switch there, so that it would be depressed when the lever is in retract and not when the lever is in extend. But what about float? I think an implement switch would be easier. Or maybe a footswitch?
