SE Nebraska | My experience comes from the couple of seminars I've seen him put on. One in particcular was a University of Nebraska field day. This was about 3 years ago, it was late August, beans were at that time about $11. The all knowing steve said that everyone must at that moment must forward sell all of their beans. He said verbatim... "all famers are stupid and you would be an idiot not to sell beans now" Within 2 months, beans rallied $2. He has never been back to a University of Nebraska event to this day that I know of. I'm not faulting him for making a bad call. I've done that enough to know I can't fault others. What rubbed me and numerous others the wrong way was his belittiling language towards his audience. I know that's how he gets his point across. But it was in extemely bad taste. I refuse to go to a seminar if I know he will be there. | |
