Bruce; you do understand history and the fact there were a number of nations where "these countries" are now.
Europeans, mostly, came and destroyed the existing society and forcibly planted themselves on the continent.
Kicking out people that had been here for thousands of years.
They even used pretty mean and dishonourable ways to kill off the original people so they could have it themselves.
Why do you think that 'only white people' should have the right to live here? After all we have only been here for a few hundred years.
I will admit my original post is "leading" in a way, which is unintended. I do know what the white man did to the natives in order to settle this continent. I do not condone or agree with it. I also don't think we "alone" should be here or rule - what I was getting at, is I disagree how here in Canada the farmer who is barely getting by in a bad year can't claim any form of unemployment, yet the east indian driving a gravel truck for cash can.
Here in Canada I'm tired of all the appeasing directed at the people who've only been here for the last 20-30 years. Yet we supposedly can't afford to take care of those who have paid their dues, like our veterans.
