| Never had any negative comments on our equipment from any landlords although we did have a farm manager who didn't think our equipment was up to the task of farming his ground but I think he's changed his mind now. Alot of our equipment is older but we keep it in great condition and I think alot of land owners would rather see somebody using a 20 year old tractor that looks like new than a late model tractor that's had the wheels ran off of it.
We've had several landlords comment on how much they like how we do alot of no-till, with one landlord our land stewardship practices are probably alot of the reason he asked us if we would rent his farm. | |
