| Thoughts?
Fert removal and all costs involved Fob the bunker next to grinder.
I say 50 a ton? |

Little River, TX | That is just $25/bale, or roughly the cost of baling.
Would any one want to bale corn stalks for $25/bale, kicked out the baler gate? Considering the extra wear and tare on the baler& equipment.

central Ia. | We put $80 per acre fertilizer back plus figure $20/ bale, rake baled and hauled home. 3 bales per acre so 26.60 for fertilizer per bale plus $20 = $46.60/ bale $93.20/ton. Paying $75-$100 per bale here at local hay auction

No Mans Land , Cimarron co. OK. | I do some irrigated circles every year they make around 650 to 700 per circle, 4x4x8 bales, sell them to a dairy somewhere south an west of me,when they pay 100.00 plus per ton for roughage such as corn stalks you bet we will bale some .Sell them some alfalfa too. It is hard on equipment eating so much dirt and dust but makes a pile of bales. |

| If you are willing to pay 25 bucks to have a round bale made you would have a fleet of balers headed south.
We made 300 bales from 11 am to 7 pm today so that would be 7500 bucks .
Most guys here charge 10 including net wrap.

west central iowa | In our county, there is alot of cattle fed. So there is a need to buy extra bales for roughage. We can get cornstalk bales bought and delivered here to the feedlot for $27-$30 per bale. There is alot of corn on corn raise around here, so this helps with the trash factor. Some guys will trade bales for hog or cattle $hit. |
