Lakeville, MN | I would try for a new if possible. If new is not available then a jd reman would be my next choice. The pro rebuilds have a better system for machining and testing core for flaws. Things that a shop is not going to have. Plus a longer warranty period. I know that the cores for remans are not low hr but they will more than likely have less than 17K. If you really feel like you want your core to be rebuilt then make sure they find a point of failure before they start rebuild. You could have a oil passage cracked or many other small imperfections that could lead to the same issue after the rebuild is complete. | |
