Subject: RE: hopper bin problems - need some ideas

Manitoba, Canada
What about buying an extension for drill bits. That way the drill could be completely below the bin opening when trying to drill with a hole saw? I have taken an old bit before and welded a rod onto it to make it long enough for the job. Might be worth a try . The post above got me thinking. Maybe a guy could put a bottle jack below opening and make an extension with a flat plate to push against the plywood. Could just jack the plywood away from the hole and suck up the grain as it comes out.
