much of the middle east is tribal/sectarian violence and even within the same religion. as these so called countries never really existed until the europeans made it so. sunnis dont like shias. democracy has given us Hamas in palestine, hezbollah in lebanon,and the muslim brotherhood in egypt, tunisa,and libiya. and likely syria. does any of this look like progress to you?
