Subject: Re: Implement Tire Alternatives

Southern Illinois
we have been using the galaxy tires on bigger disks. They are a truck pattern that are rated for highway and heavy loads, and they are a little more expensive but the way implement tires don't last its worth it. My fear is they have no floatation and will compact ground worse, but if you have blow outs on the road and never make it to the field it doesn't matter. I have a 12-16.5 on an 8 bolt rim I bought for a spare for the weigh wagon I have never used I would take $350 for if you go with that size.
