Top of Texas | I went to a groundwater conservation district meeting last night and then watched the show-after hearing the comments about 20 years i got to thinking about the 50/50 rules. Just wondering if they mean 50% of what we have now or what was originally there. Also was shocked to see the number of wells and the total amount of water pumped in dallam and hartley counties is so much more than in our area, yet the aquifer is much thinner over there. | |
