Faunsdale, AL | Most common one we see on the 4440's is a small elbow fitting up in front of the top of the radiator. it has a check valve ball in it I think and a small hose barb pressed into the side of the main L casting. This small hose barb which is for a plastic drain line will pull out or shake loose so it leads oil down over the radiator. Lift up hood and see if there's oil up high on the radiator.
If no oil up there, maybe like was said earlier steering motor/cylinder plug might leak or maybe the main pump itself. | |
