Subject: Re: do you inoculate soybeans?

New London, Wisconsin
I used to apply up to three times the regular rate back when soybeans were less frequent in my rotation and some research had indicated a benefit to doing so. Lately with higher priced inoculant and more years of beans I don't do that anymore, in fact I didn't inoculate anything for the past 3 or 4 years. A test strip showed no difference. The nodules still look great, yes I checked that. Seems to be working so far. Your milage may vary.
