Mount Vernon, WA | Yes. I have graphs for both 2011 6.7L engines. The pickup engine was rated at 390 HP, and the cab/chassis engine is rated at 300. The reason is simply horsepower wars between the big 3. Ford realizes that a typical pickup truck owner is not going to be demanding nearly 400 HP from their pickups for anything other than short bursts of time. On the flip side, a cab/chassis owner may actually pull heavy loads for long periods of time. To prolong engine life, we don't want to do that with an engine that is on steroids, which is how you could describe a pickup engine. It all boils down to "duty cycle".
