| Many in here make some comments that reflect their faith or religion so here are some thoughts. The idea of endtimes is one that is found in more than one religion. Does that make it inevitable? Perhaps. And if so why? Because Nostradamus says so? How can a "Christian" or "Muslim" trust a seer who was neither but Jewish? Or because the Hebrew Scriptures/prophecies say so? How can a "Christian" or an on looking Muslim trust that when many in the Christian world claim that the Jewish scriptures are annulled and replaced with the "New Testament"? Or because the "New Testament" says so? How can a Jew or on looking Muslim trust that when most in the "Christian" world claim that "G-d" is actually not ONE but THREE PERSONS? An absolute abomination (polytheism)in Judaism and Islam? Or because Islamic writings say so? How can a "Jew" or "Christian" believe that when Islam teaches that any outside their religion are pigs and monkeys and that it is an Islamic commandment to kill all such "infidels" unless they convert and testify that there is no G-d but Allah and his Mohamed is his prophet?? Well perhaps the one who can "believe " that the world as it now is will end would be an Atheist because it is logical that with these three major religions all saying and believing what they do they will bring about their own prophecies by self-fullfillment!
