I think a better question is, what are you going to gain if you currently have a "good" 1063?     Poly?     Hyd deckplates?

Poly is easy to put on your current head.    Hyd deckplates can be added also.

I believe the reason most people don't like them is that the knife rolls are not knife to knife like the old 800/900/1000 heads.    They are a New Holland head with red paint/plastic.
