southern MN | My state also limits P in lawn fert, think we were the first state to do so in 2004 or so.
But there is a loophole, starter fert for new lawns can be the old regular rate, I forget if that is 10 or what?
So, it is amazing how the same pallet of normal lawn fert sits in the stores all summer, but the new lawn starter sells out weekly... :)
Interesting thread, I doubt I understand 10% of it, but interesting stuff here.
My goal, when attending a farm show of some sort, seed corn, or fert, or whatever, is to try to understand 10% of what they are talking about. I don't have to change anything I do, can agree or disagree with what is being presented, but figure I am doing pretty good if I pick up on 10% of what is presented.
