Subject: RE: Geringhoff Northstar Corn Heads

Gothenburg, NE
I finished my second year with the Northstar and I really have no complaints so far. The previous head was a Case 3206, and not to knock brands, but I feel that the Geringhoff is a couple steps ahead as far as the engineering. I really like the easy to adjust snout height, easily removable gathering chains, the monitor that tells you how far your stripper plates are open, and the utter lack of breakdowns (other than running the snout into pivot tracks).
