Add this to your list. VAM fungi produce auxin-like chems that can influenc e stomatal activity to increase water use efficiency . They have been closely associated with land plants so long that they can act like they are actually an appendage of the plant.

Glomulin is just a product of one of the Glomus fungi - fasiculatum, esculentum, others. These fungi have made it possible for ,plants to live on dry land.
