Pulling a 24 ft 1610 with 9400(400hp) about 12 inches deep and its all the tractor wants

Hate to break it to ya but you are NOT pulling a 1610 JD Chisel plow 12" deep first off you don't have enough HP unless you are in pure blow sand and second the frame/shanks would never hold up to being in the ground that deep.

I good friend of mine once told me what happend to them they had a 24 or 26 foot 1610 chisel plow don't remember for shure exactly anyways they had a 8450 they were pulling it with, they then bought there first 8960 and figured now we can really stick this sucker in the ground, said the first year it held up pretty good, 2nd year did some welding and after the 3rd year it was ready for the scrap pile said there was so much welding and plates add to try and hold it together 1/2 of it was not even green anymore.
