deep SW On. | A good thread , we as farmers have always thought of ourselves as producers as we pay income taxes,ect , but we also recive many gov't benefits ,not sure over a 30-40 years if we pay more taxes than we get benefits or not . In Canda we have universal health care which takes about 40% of income taxes collected and statistics show that 1/2 of your health care dollars are used in the last 6 months of your life . Probably good example is local gov'ts doing municipal projects and justifying it by "oh we are getting federal money to pay for part of it" . Think they actually know where feds get there $. | |
