N FLA | What "kind" of car are you talking about? My grandma died with a 15 year old cavalier with 30k miles. I might treat that different than a 4 year old Cadillac. My brother is a self employed used car salesman, so I hear all about tire kickers.
Some cars are just very difficult to sell used, because banks won't finance them, and the pool of buyers with 5,000+ in cash is extremely limited. Sounds like you may have it priced like a clean low mileage car, but its got some flaws this guy didn't want to live with if he is driving it 5 years, or his wife may have said don't bring anything back with scratches and flaws in interior.
Edit: I looked at the ad, I think the buyer of a used 3 ye a r old car expects it to be flawless. On a good note, that should be easy for someone to finance because its less than 4 years old., but you probably need to be priced 3k less than the nearest "automall" would sell for.
