Nebraska | I am the sales rep for the company Ag Builder works for. He is tied up so I will answer a few of the questions. The building structure itself is an Accu-Steel Crossover. The engineering is calculated with the fabric ivolved so I am not sure what it would take to engineer it with steel sheeting. The pens were designed for 40 square foot per head. We are having an open house on November 15th and are just putting in the finishing touches. Looking at the pictures it does look like more square foot per head. With this being the first pen in the barn, I am not sure as to the number of head in this pen.
As to the cost per square foot, it is approximately $16.75. This price does include some penning outside the building for moving cattle in an out. As to the question about building in Texas, It may depend on the whole scope of the project but we do build just about anywhere.
