Don't know how you could correct it.
I think it will hurt your yield a lot less than you imagine.
A fairly small population of wheat is going to use all the nutrients, sunlight, and water it is going to get, anyway.
Wide row wheat out yields narrow row wheat in dry years out on the plains. Only suffers minor yield loss in wet years. You can use 2,4 d on wheat, so broad leafs should not be an issue.
