| +1 on the EZ Guide 250 with the AG15 antenna. It's the first guidance we had for exactly what you'r describing on spraying and it's a huge help. Set an A/B line and it's keeps you pretty straight (seems like 4" or better for me) but like you said once you get on a row it's not an issue. Between the A/B line and the swathfinder it gets me on the right row everytime. Another nice thing about the swathfinder is that if you head to the shed to nurse your sprayer like we do you can easily go back in the field and find out right where you left off or if you swithc out with someone it's easy for them to figure out where you left off and what you've already done. You can easily upgrade and add on. As far as how easy is it move from tractor to tractor that all depends on how you install it. Our's works off the cigarette lighter, has a simple base mount, and one wire gonig to the antenna. There will be offsets to change when you move from tractor to tractor and depdning on what implement you're pulling but I think the EZ Guide 250 is about as simply as it comes for setting that stuff up. Check with local dealers. Alot of guys start with that unit and then move up / upgrade and you can probably find used units at really reasonable prices. We have ours in a 4430 pulling a bestway 60' and it works great. | |
