E.Central MN | Of course the auctioneer would continue trying to complete a deal, thats how they get their commission. And while some may think a no-sale can have bad PR, in this inflated ag land market I don't think any of them lose a night's sleep over it. A few years ago I saw land auctions where the auctioneers had several small parcels from different sellers. It was basically just listing the parcels and hoping that two people would get in a bidding war and bid more than what the seller was asking. A lot of time nothing sold unlike now. | |
