Under 1, How do you figure Bug? True shrink is 1.176 in everything i've ever seen, read, or heard. I've done it in our bins many times.

It's just another way all the ag businesses pad themselves, the farmer get short end of the stick every time. Elevator use 1.4 which is far from actual shrink in their favor. Insurance uses 1.1 which isn't right in their favor. What's new, farmer pays.


I'm not a corn grower, probably never will be seeing as how we have 0 frost free days here, but do you really think your going to get anyone to believe that the farmer is paying for this insurance business? Really?

Try having your best coverage be NAP on about 95% of your acres, including crops that cost a whole lot more to grow than corn.
