SC Kansas | Here it was too hot and dry for too long for milo. We planted late, which was the only chance, but missed any rains in the area. We strip tilled with 100 #N, planted 38000, and it made 38. Some people planted a week later and made 85. The early planted corn polinated before the heat and made about 60. Seems like a crap shoot either way in a drought. We are planting some of both next year. | |
