Aberdeen MS | the state is dragging their feet on issuing titles. Normal wait on a "regular" title is in the 4-6 month time frame.
For a $10 fee and a $10 admin fee, a title can be "fast tracked" and you get it within 7-10 days.
I'm still waiting on titles that needed to be reissued due to me becoming single in May. Those went into the state about 2 1/2 months ago. No real "ownership" changed hands. Just her name off and the lien release recorded.
One title I did fast track this summer and had it in my hands complete on the 6th day. As long as the app has been received by the state and is in the data base, it can be fast tracked. | |
