Emporia, ks | My mom is 89 with bladder cancer and going to KU med center Tuesday to have surgery to remove a tumor and part of the bladder. If she makes it through the surgery, the Dr said after she is in the hospital for about 5 days, she will need to go to a skilled nursing facility for a while to recover. She's had a long term health care policy for about 10 years through Bankers life that after thoroughly reading the policy, it looks like after spending close to $5,000/year, it won't pay for home health or pay much for skilled nursing and only $100/ day for a nursing home after we would pay for the first 90 days. Anyone been in this situation? Anyone out there feel like stringing up an insurance salesman after finding out something like this like I do?
