SIL takes grand daughter there . . . . She likes it, he likes it more. located a couple blocks up from McStop off I94.
Stay at the Holiday in on hwy 15 & 23. Nice large facility with indoor basket ball and pools.
Eat at Texas Road house a few blocks west, by Home Depo.
Cross roads shopping - Scheels sporting store in there (guns, fishing, outdoor stuff up stairs) http://www.scheels.com/

Munsinger Gardens, across the river from St CLoud State college -

Several Parks along the Mississippi river, on both sides of the river. Nice Hospital on the river north of downtown.
