Northeast Arkansas | We leased a 290 Magnum last year. At first we were real impressed as compared to our 30 series deeres. But this year it came time to trade and I spent the extra money to have 8285R's. The 290 has been in the shop more in two years than both 2005 model deeres put together have since they were new. Its an ok tractor(the guidance sucks) but now no one wants to drive when givin the choice to drive the R's. I love my red planters and sprayer but I think they are way behind on tractors. When my lease is up, it would take a super super deal to get me in another red one and I still dont think I would do it. | |
