Wheat planted into good moisture a couple of weeks ago only came up to half stands and well established stuff is going backwards and dying in spots. Only a fraction of dryland summer row crops like milo and cotton made enough to harvest. It looks to me like 20 degrees above normal temps regardless of season are here to stay which doesn't bode well for crop prospects. | |
