ecsd | <p>My geothermal unit was in stalled in 1991 and now is shot. So I am in the process of getting a new one. I was quoted $7500 for just the unit, a 3 ton. I just have one deep artesian well that runs in the house goes to the geothermal unit and out to my cattle water tanks and out to a pond. So it runs all the time and is cheaper than drilling 3-5 wells. As long as you have a place for the water to run after it leaves the house. The temp out of vents is about 90 degrees.</p>
