take ethanol to $3 per gallon, and a lot of things are possible for the price of corn....or take lean hogs to $100, and they can absorb higher prices.....it has taken quite awhile for the meat biz to adapt to the higher cost structure, but appears to be doing it albeit slowly....not that there are not a lot of dead bodies littered along the road in getting to this point.... | |
