we put it in in 08, love it, as far as air is not warm, don't know how to answer that. the air out of the vent is not hot, but house is the temp you set it for, same thing in summer, house is the temp ya set it for, I guess cence the house temp is what I want I've never felt the need to hold my hands to the vent to warm em.
