Subject: RE: John Deere 8310R VS Case IH 315 Magnum

Modena, Wisconsin

I think it will.  It will be one of the things I will be trying it with.  I did a little of that with a turbo till this year and it worked pretty good but I think with the angle of the blades on the max it will bury a little more trash and warm up and dry out a little better. I am using a Case 330 this fall and it does ok but is light compared to a Turbo Max. Right now I am just running it to size stalks in front of a 714 chisel.  I probably will run it a little on some that will just get one pass with a max next spring. I have another week with the combine and then will see how much the weather will let me do.
