Subject: Question on crop insurance.

northwest tennessee

I rent my row crop ground out and get a third of the crop. On the farm here the beans made between 40-42 depending on whos acres you go by. There are water ways and woods and ponds so that is the reason. My farm in Ky. didnt do so well and corn made 36 and beans 21. How the beans here made that I dont know because grass would not even grow. My question is I may take out crop insurance next year and know next to nothing about it. What type do I need? I pay no expenses so I quess I want to protect revenue. By the way the guy that works the ground in Ky. had insurance and he paid me 150.00 an acre because he said he could and wanted to keep the ground. I think it came out around 105 average if you had gone by the crop. I didnt finish, haha, but if this weather continues to act strange next year I may take out crop insurance.
