If your travelling by air, keep in mind most airlines have a max weight of 50 lbs. They will go over to a certain extent, but the penalties get really high. With this in mind, don't by a huge suitcase. My wife and I have one that we never use as we can only fill it half full and keep it below the 50 lbs.
