WC IL | I had a case of this 10 years ago now. Mine ended up a little more serious as it ruptured while I was in the hospital. I ended up having about 16" of my colon removed and had an ostomy for 3 months, which fortunately was able to be reversed. I have eaten anything I wanted since then and have had no recurrence. Only thing I've done differently is more fiber in my diet and a Fibercon pill each day. I still eat tomatoes, strawberries, sesame seed rolls, popcorn, etc.
