Pennsylvania | We live in a 200+ yr old house and black snakes are a common occurance. Several yrs ago we had one upstairs laying on the chair rail behind the bed.
My dad used to tell the story of how he was visiting the neighbors (many years ago) and there was a mouse or rat running in the wall. The neigbor left out a long string of profanity, grabbed his shotgun and shot a hole in the wall. Not sure if he got the varmit but it sure scared the heck out of my dad. | |
