| Ed, by my own budgets, Beans have pulled ahead of corn in the last few weeks. With input prices going up(I didn't have enough locked early) and bean prices also going up, I think you are going to see more beans in my area, especially on the more marginal soils. I just wish I knew where to start locking in some bean prices, because I think you are right on 08 prices. Soybeans could be substantially cheaper than they are right now come fall. I can get over $10.00 NC locally, and that's starting to look inviting. $400 gross on soybeans is nothing to sneeze at. | |
