I planted rye last fall, too. Had seed beans coming in late for that field ,so worked good. Got almost 4 -1200 bales per acre. Planted beans on June 17. Pretty dry stretch=they took a while getting growing. Made about 35 bpa. Beans planted normal time made 50. Had a guarantee on seed acres so didn't take the hit.
