Subject: Daughter's American Degree

Monmouth Illinois
I had the pleasure of of taking my Dad and daughters Boyfriend to Indy to watch her recieve her American Degree yesterday.
When we got home. after a 5 hour drive, shw still had her full official dress on. I was curios as to why, and she told me that the American Degree emblem could only be affixed to a properly retired FFA jacket. She was not ready to take it off for the last time, til we were all there.
Looking back on the six years since she was a Greenhand, I am so proud of what she has accomplished. I would also like to thank all of those who have helped and supported her thru the years. Mr Kilburn, her advisor. Her Uncle Mark and Grandpa Chuck, and countless friends and neighbors who have been there with support and guidance.
Conggratulations to all of the 2012 American Degree recipients, from what I saw this weekend, the future of Agriculture is very bright indeed.
