I have an RDS tank in my diesel pickup. It's plumbed into the filler neck and keeps the stock fuel tank full. I wouldn't have another truck without it. Don't know why they wouldn't work with gas, unless gas and aluminum don't mix, or maybe fuel expansion reasons, but I get that with diesel.
